Travel Basketball
William United Basketball provides the opportunity for advanced play and the ability to play other local clubs (typical drive time is within 30 minutes). Practice once or twice a week and typically play one game a weekend with travel teams having the added advantage of optional extended practice on the off-season, and local tournaments.
The cost estimate ranges from $250 to $525 for the season. Cost depends on amount of days training, league, ref fees, player passes and insurance.

Multiple seasons run all year round, including practices, leagues and tournaments. Travel leagues are Fall and Spring each year.

Practices
Typically there is 1 game a week and 1 practice a week for the youngest teams and then 2 days per week for the older teams. Specific to each team.
Games
8 or 9 Games per season on a Saturday or Sunday.

- 25.5 for 5&6 year olds
- 27.5 for 7&8 year olds
- 28.5 for 9 & older
- Uniforms (additional cost - $60-$100, depending on team)

Can I be part of any team?
It is required that you be invited to a team or request to try out.
Can I request a practice time?
The coach will either setup his or her own schedule for practices or ask for availability from the team and then setup. The schedule is different for each team.
Can I request a game time?
Game times for leagues and away games are setup by the league and we tend not to have any say in the schedule. We have more flexibility with 4 home games than away games. We can request a preferred day and we can ask for game changes after seeing the schedule.
